I recently found an awesome place to watch new raid videos if you want to see them from a melee perspective. http://www.youtube.com/user/Cowshammy1988 There is the youtube channel I would really recommend subscribing as he will have more pve videos out more frequently than I will.

Raid Leading Guide

I am starting a multi part guide to raid leading. The first part of the guide will be out this week covering Type of Raiding, Goals / Direction, Delegation, Moral, and Preparation. On top of this I am going to rework this blog making it much more appealing and not so hagrad to look at.

This boss comes 4th in the instance, this is one of our earlier kills, we beat the time by 5-6 minutes now but when you first get to it, kind of a long fight and some of the orders of the enemy spawns are really crappy.

To help raiders prepare their schedules for next week, we wanted to give everyone a brief heads-up that the Normal mode Heart of Fear will be debuting alone on Tuesday, and the Normal mode Terrace of Endless Spring will now open two weeks following the release of Normal Heart of Fear.

To help players focus on tackling these new encounters without feeling overwhelmed, we’ve decided to stagger the release of the two remaining raid zones. Heart of Fear should prove to be a challenging zone that will take the typical group some time to master, and players must defeat the Grand Empress Shek’zeer at the end of Heart of Fear before they may move on to Terrace of Endless Spring once that zone unlocks.

The unlock schedule for Looking For Raid modes for Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring is unaffected by this change. Heroic Heart of Fear will still be accessible to players who have cleared the zone on Normal difficulty.

We'll be posting an updated schedule when Heart of Fear goes live next week like we did for Mogu'shan Vaults. It should be two weeks between Heart of Fear and Normal Terrace opening.

Mogu'Shan Vaults

Here is the 3rd boss from a healers point of view, this fight is very healing intensive and works a lot better if both of your healers have working mics.

These are not Guide videos I will make some of those after I move things are kind of hectic right now, but they will at least show you the fights from a healer perspective.

This is the first boss you will encounter, it is good to break mines with damage immunities up.

Staggered Raid Releases

In case you hadn't heard already the first set of raids in MoP will have a staggered release schedule, this schedule is as follows:


September 25: MoP launches
October 2: Mogu'shan Vaults (normal) opens
October 7: Mogu'shan Vaults (LFR) opens, those who cleared normal Vaults can access heroic mode
October 30: Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring (normal) open, with Terrace only accessible by clearing Heart
November 6: Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring (LFR) open; queuing for Terrace requires clearing Heart. Those who cleared normal Heart can access heroic Heart, same for Terrace.

Can't say I am a fan of being locked out of raids for a week after launch..or LFR being released only a week after content comes out but I am a fan of staggering releases anyways hope this is helpful!

MoP Faction Breakdowns

Obtaining the first epic items in MoP will require both valor points and a reputation of revered with a faction. The new factions are sorted by item slots, click the link to get a full list of items and a guide to obtain the required reputation.

Golden Lotus = Shoulders, Chest, Fingers

Shado-Pan = Head, Back, Trinket

Klaxxi = Neck, Legs, Waist

The August Celestials = Wrist, Hands, Feet (In order to unluck this reputation you must reach revered with the Golden Lotus)

Mogu'shan Vaults

The Mogu'shan Vaults was built during the Mogu Thunder King's rise to power to contain and protect a mysterious artifact.^[1] He converted the surrounding structure into a sort of shrine dedicated to the mogu empire. The complex houses many of the empire’s lost artifacts and is the resting place of the spirits of old mogu kings.
